Before using the nextupcleaning.com website (the “Service”) operated by Next Up Cleaning Service (“us,” “we,” or “our”), please carefully review this Agreement. By scheduling a service with Next Up Cleaning Service, you agree to adhere to our Terms of Use Agreement. Next Up Cleaning Service functions as a marketplace platform connecting users with professional cleaning service providers who are reliable, experienced, and diligent. If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us, and we will be happy to provide further clarification. Your access to and use of the Service are contingent upon your acceptance and compliance with these terms. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and individuals who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you confirm your consent to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
**Services**
The company assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from third-party cleaning service providers, including but not limited to property damage, theft, or injuries. By using this software or service to schedule or engage with third-party cleaning service providers, you explicitly release the company from any liability or claims arising from services provided by these third parties.
1. **Service Description**: Next Up Cleaning serves as a marketplace platform that connects users with skilled, thoroughly insured, background-checked, dependable, and experienced cleaners.
2. **Booking Service**: Clients can schedule services via phone, email, or our online booking system.
3. **Availability**: We aim to accommodate your preferred dates and times, but scheduling is subject to availability and may be adjusted as needed to fit both cleaners and clients.
4. **Payment**: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash at our discretion and credit/debit cards. An authorization hold will be placed on your card the day before your cleaning. This is NOT a charge. If this hold fails, you will be notified so it can be resolved before the cleaner is dispatched. If a cleaning service is booked for an incorrect number of bedrooms and/or bathrooms or inaccurate house information, we will contact you to adjust the booking fee. It is your responsibility to make payment for services provided by or fees owed to Next Up Cleaning. Failure to do so may result in legal action.
5. **Price**: We reserve the right to evaluate and adjust cleaning prices annually to reflect inflation. You will be notified well in advance. We will not increase your charges without your approval.
6.**Cancellation/Rescheduling**: As cleaners allocate a specific time for your appointment, any rescheduling or cancellation requests must be made by 12 p.m. the day before your scheduled service. This allows us time to attempt to fill the now-empty slot in
our schedule. A $50 fee will apply if you miss this deadline or if the cleaner cannot access your home on the appointment day. We will try to contact you via text, phone, and/or email before canceling the booking.
7. **Cleaner’s Arrival**: Cleaners have a 1-hour arrival window. Exact arrival times cannot be guaranteed due to factors such as traffic, parking, and equipment setup. You will be notified of any changes.
8. **Property Access**: Clients are responsible for providing access to the property at the agreed-upon time. Alternate access arrangements must be made if the client is unavailable.
9. **Service Execution**: Cleaners do not perform tasks such as wet wiping light bulbs, upholstery cleaning, removal of biohazards (e.g., insects, human or animal waste, black mold), moving large furniture, or large-scale trash disposal. Cleaners do not work at elevated heights and will not use ladders due to insurance restrictions. Cleaning cannot be performed without running water and electricity. During your cleaning, if there are fewer than ten (10) dirty dishes, they will be cleaned. Any additional dishes will be considered an add-on service and charged accordingly. Cleaners should be treated with kindness and respect, as they will reciprocate.
10. **Supplies and Equipment**: Our team brings their own cleaning supplies and equipment. Specific product requests can be accommodated with prior notice; however, you may be asked to provide these items if necessary.
11. **After Cleaning**: If you have any concerns about the cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of completion for resolution. If you are not satisfied with the service, you have 24 hours after the cleaning to report any issues. Requests outside this 24-hour timeframe will be considered at the company’s discretion. We will offer a re-clean of missed areas within five (5) days of the request. For minor issues, we will provide a proportional discount. If you do not respond to the re-clean or discount offers within three (3) days, we will consider them declined and process the charge.
12. **Client Responsibilities – Communication**: Clear communication about cleaning requirements, special instructions, or areas of focus is essential for satisfactory service.
13. **Client Responsibilities – Property Conditions**: Clients should inform us of any delicate or special items requiring particular care during cleaning, such as broken furniture or loose bathroom fixtures. We recommend storing high-value or sentimental items before cleaning to prevent damage. While we exercise caution, we cannot be held responsible for pre-existing damage or unforeseen circumstances during service delivery. Cleaners may omit areas that cannot be cleaned due to excessive clutter or biohazard risks. All surfaces, such as wood and marble, are assumed to be properly sealed and not susceptible to common cleaning products.
14. **After Clean**: We will send a text message after your appointment to check your satisfaction with the results. For recurring customers, this check-in text will only be sent after the first three (3) appointments. However, you can always call, text, or email us to report any issues at any time.
15. **Confidentiality**: Client information is kept strictly confidential, as detailed in our privacy policy available on our website at nextupcleaning.com. Click on the privacy policy link at the bottom of the page. Full terms of service are also available there.
16. **Feedback**: We welcome feedback to help us improve our services. Please feel free to reach out with any concerns or comments about your cleaning.
17. **Updates**: This policy may be updated occasionally. Clients will be informed of any changes in advance.
